Hi. I just discovered your blog and I am really enjoying it. I am pretty good at controlling myself around make up as I simply don't have the funds (2 kids lol) to buy a lot but I like to read about it and watch the videos out of curiosity. I am a transplant in NY too and I get a lot of what you say about the city. We've been here 2 years now but I doubt it will be forever as we are not American. I have a love / hate relationship with the city (some days I love it, some days I hate it) and I find there's not a lot of middle ground. I view it as a great opportunity to spend time here but I hope we move on in a couple of years. I think my husband likes it more than me so we'll see!
I'm glad you made a lifestyle change that has made you happy. It cannot be overestimated how important being fundamentally happy is to a person. Take care :-)
